As parents of a hard-working, travel-loving millennial, what a hoot it was to be selected by Trip Advisor for their list of 20 Baby Boomer Travel Bloggers Having More Fun Than Millennials!

Yes, we do have more fun than many millennials because with age come certain perks. After our long careers in mental health (as a psychiatrist and psychologist), we certainly have more time and energy to travel than ever before. We seize opportunities to see new places, experience different cuisines and cultures, and learn about other parts of our world. We always find that we return home changed (and hopefully wiser) after our adventures.

We were especially proud to be recognized among a group of very talented, creative and energetic boomer travel bloggers whose websites are listed below. Reading these blogs–and others by some boomer travel bloggers who aren’t on this list–has been both informative and inspiring. We’ve found that “people in our shoes” usually provide very reliable travel advice. Among the group, we’ve found friends and kindred spirits.

Thanks so much to TripAdvisor for this recognition! We would also encourage you to check out these other excellent baby boomer blogs if you haven’t already done so. Each reflects the different styles, interests and sensibilities (from budget to luxury) of these bloggers.
