The Ultimate Christmas Gift: A Trip to Africa with Dr. Jane Goodall
TRAVEL NEWS – As the holidays approach, many high-worth individuals begin to think about unique, bespoke travel experiences—either as vacations for themselves or as gifts to others. What could be more exotic, educational, and life-enriching than a trip to Africa with Dr. Jane Goodall?
The Travel Store (the largest California-based travel agency) has partnered with African Travel Inc. to create such an opportunity for up to 20 guests who will embark upon a once-in-a-lifetime, 22-day photo safari to track and photograph gorillas, chimpanzees and other primates.
World-famous primatologist and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall and National Geographic magazine contributing photographer and author Joel Satore will accompany the group as they visit off-the-beaten-track places in Ethiopia, the Congo, and Tanzania and stay at 4- and 5-stars camps and lodges, the best ones available at these remote locations.
The cost to hobnob with Jane and the chimps: $59,990 per person, based on double occupancy, which includes airfare within Africa—as well as a tax-deductible donation of $2500 per person to the Jane Goodall Institute.
