In the U.S., the additional tax costs of staying in a hotel for 7-nights range from a low of $147 per week in Burbank, California to a high of $254 in New York City. When budgeting for your next trip, inquire about the taxes (and other hotel or resort fees) that may be tacked on to your bill when you check out.
